Ivan Reitman wept with joy when he saw the final cut of Afterlife.

Delayed till the end of the year!
Ghostbusters: Afterlifenow which the studio also is very high on, will debut on Nov. 11 instead of June 11. Directed by Jason Reitman, the film follows a single mom and her two kids who arrive in a small town. They begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. Right now Ghostbusters: Afterlife is the only release on Nov. 11.

2021 is largely going to be a repeat of 2020. At least until summer, or even the end of it. Get used to it. :(

In happier news, Ghostbusters cereal is coming soon! And Twinkies! I'm always a sucker for foodie tie-ins. ;)

Oh my gosh, I LOVED that show! :). Number one favorite cartoon from my childhood. (DuckTales and Rainbow Brite are second and third.)

J. Michael Straczynski, who was story editor during season one, was absolutely brilliant. There were actually a lot of adult gags I didn’t really understand but loved anyway. So awesome. And occasionally, quite scary. (If Peter getting possessed by the demon “What” a la Exorcist didn’t scare you, you were certainly braver than I! ;))

Too bad the later seasons were extremely dumbed down after ABC did "research" over what the kids "really wanted"...

This is a pretty extensive look into what went wrong with the series during its later years, all of which were the results of "higher ups" trying to fix something which wasn't broken in the first place (language warning):
