I am a dolt.

Thought we were talking Bunny, not Stones. So I was wondering why there would be missing teasers on the front of cartoon shorts!

Yes, of course they should be there on the Stones set. :)

They should be there, but I never really liked them anyhow, so I honestly won't be too bothered if they are missing. As Eric said, they were just excerpts anyway.

Although as I said earlier:
Daniel wrote: July 22nd, 2020, 11:29 amWhat I'm wondering is if this set will have the same masters as the ones on HBO Max. If so, many episodes have scenes before the theme missing. Most are teasers, but the majority have crucial plot points not repeated. That's a huge deal breaker. They're meant to be there and were on the DVDs. Nix those, the set really isn't "Complete"...
"The Gruesomes" is good example. All this in theory would be missing:

That's pretty integral to the plot. Their introduction, how they got the place, Gobby! So many jokes, too. Missing that would bother me.

Well, yeah, something like that should certainly be kept. Excerpts I can live without, but an actual "stinger" would need to be there.

The prints on HBOMax seemed to be intact, excerpts and plot points, from what I could stream long enough to see.
(I already had so many of the Warner movies, my free HBOMax trial consisted mostly of later 'Stones episodes I hadn't already bought, and some of the Bugs' 80th rarity-toons.)

Does it say whether the sets will include the historian featurettes from the DVD season boxes?

(Like the S4 one that charts the history of how the Gruesomes began as H-B trying to spin off a separate cartoon series for "Mr. & Mrs. J. Evil Scientist" from the Snooper & Blabber cartoons?)

Going by the press release, none of the bonuses from the DVDs are ported over.

The Flintstone set was briefly talked about on Stu's Show yesterday. Still very much sounds like nothing is being ported over.

That is an H-B series I will spring for on Blu-ray. Classic! Too bad they just reused the mediocre DVD cover, but the show should look great. Hopefully the awesome Toth documentary will be on the Blu too.

Oh Rand... ;)

Jonny Quest carried over all the extras, me thinks, so this should too, especially as it’s WAC and not WHV doing it.
