Absolutely PERFECT. :) :) :)
Poof! ;)

Looks beautiful. That's how you do a promo. I am so pumped for this! How fitting that Spielberg would highlight the return of one his greatest works by parodying another of his greatest works. Talk about timely. A nice small touch, they use the original designs for the cel Ellie holds up. Hearing "Boingy, boingy, boingy" just takes me back. :D

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

This...looks terrific, actually!

That was from the NEW series?
I thought that looked like was from the old 90's series, which, like Spielberg's other produced tiny toons, didn't really seem to be made by people who had the faintest grasp on children's cartoons, and were obsessed with insular Tinseltown sitcom pokes at their own entertainment industry people and celebrities, which are incredibly hilarious if you're an industry person in LA.
Including the usual bruising rib-nudges about Spielberg's own movies.

Nice to know the new series is................................EXACTLY in the style of the old one.

Well, as the spot itself says, it’s pretty clearly not from the old series, making mention of...hello!...widescreen and the clean vector line animation. Pretty big giveaways right from the off.

And I love how it picks up right where the original left off, complete with mid-90s era spoofing. This is exactly what we wanted, even if you didn’t. The new trailer even ouches on what they missed in 22 years and comes up to date by making fun of that too. Loved the cyclops Chump and Hanna-Barbers cameos...this is gonna be excellent!

"These don't look like reruns" how more crystal clear could it have been!? Seriously. How dense can one person be...

Anyhoo, nice to see Pinky and the Brain back at Acme Labs. Guess it will be ignoring Elmyra. Bad as it is, I'm actually a fan of that season. Hope they dis her in some way. Maybe have them wake up and reveal it was all a dream. ;)

Uh, believe the point was "Yes, I know it's 'new' animation, but WHO THE HELL does Spielberg-poking 1993 Jurassic Park jokes in 2020?"

(And implying that the basic problem with the series just hadn't gotten any better in 15-20 years of age. :? The only thing worse than a 90's "throwback" is a series that doesn't even seem to know it isn't the 90's anymore.)
