Disney's Godmothered

Post by Daniel »

New Disney+ original movie streaming December 4th:

Basically Enchanted from a different angle. They even cast Isla Fisher who's one of Amy Adam's doppelganger. (others that fit the bill to me are Kate Mara, Joanna García Swisher and Rose McIver)

That aside, I think this looks cute. In a cheesy Enchanted/The Santa Clause kinda way. Terrible song choice, though. It's awesome but doesn't really gel. I'll be watching!

Mrs Baron Cohen is never an Amy Adams doppelgänger!

And, once again, the Disney+ originals are starting to look more and more like low-budget Disney Channel TV cast-offs.

As that other post said, we're paying 60 bucks for all this? ;)

This film looks like something I would have been excited to see 10 years ago. And trailers should stop using "Take on Me", imagine having something that sounds "Disney" instead.

Well, that's probably because cable channels are rat-jumping their own networks for streaming, and they ARE Disney Channel castoffs.
Except for Artemis Fowl, that one was going to go to theaters and only LOOKED like a Disney Channel film.

I don't recall a Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) looking this good. Not so much the story, just the overall cinematography. Besides, the majority of the leads in those films are kids or teens, of which these two are not! ;)
