Thus making it the perfect theme for a Space Jam movie.

Another TV spot: (best quality I could find/reveals PG rating)
"I look expensive" ha. I spy The Great Gazoo! And again, we only get a glimpse of Gossamer. His coat looks so shiny! The Wile E. joke - classic!

Lola's new voice revealed. Oof, that is terrible. The voice just doesn't fit. No real emotion or anything, Zendaya just sounds like she's reading off a script. Disappointing.

They have a cereal.
"I'm bat bugs!" Guess they do go to the dc comics planet.

Re: Space Jam 2
Hardly the first time WB merged DC with Looney Tunes for merch:
These were awesome. I had all of them as a kid. But what I loved even more were the "wacky cars" they had later on. I recall catching this commercial during a TV airing of The Sound of Music (probably the first time I ever watched that film, and pretty sure I didn't follow the story at all despite enjoying the songs). I actually played with the cars so much that my mom took them away as a punishment at least once.

They don't make toys like they use to. Still have my wacky cars!

Second trailer:
Still meh on Lola, she sounds so bland and flat. Gossamer! He's perfect.

Looks VERY fun! I’m officially more excited for this than I probably should be.

Re: Space Jam 2
At least this has kind of been addressed in the latest trail. Rather than the invisible force field, though, I still think the threat of being de-rezzed would be more of an deterrent, especially for most of the more extreme characters watching this!Ben wrote: ↑April 15th, 2021, 2:41 amAll these characters beg the question, though: if everything looks so dire for the good guys and you have the likes of Superman, Iron Giant, The Mask, etc, on hand, they better come up with a decent reason why they don’t all just barge in and help the Tunes, maybe like being "de-rezzed" if they step foot on the court (but then still wouldn’t explain why they couldn’t taken them out while in their changing rooms...)...
Still not liking the tradigital animation as much as I should be (it looks..."cheap?"), but the CG stuff ("Hey! I look expensive!") is pretty gorgeous and impressive, and I’m especially liking the almost tangible "Muppetness" to the renderings.

Particularly the shading. Looks like a step down from the previous theatrical outings. Still, at least it's not the quasi-fake animation like Tom and Jerry.
