Ringo: “Hey...Would you believe me if I said I was being tempted by a girl water spirit from a yellow submarine?”
Policeman: “Uh...No, no, I would not.”
Ringo: “I, er, didn’t think you would.”

Just heard this existed and was online the other night and meant to search for it...thanks for posting!

Obviously it looks hideous because it’s not lit and rendered, but it at least confirms that this would have been a "photoreal" version of the film, making up the trilogy of "live-action" Beatles movies, had Yellow Sub not been done in animation because the band wasn’t interested!

As much as it remains a baaaad idea I’d still love to have seen this, even as a morbid curiosity wreck. I can only wonder if leaks like this are to gauge the kind of reaction a surprise D+ completion of this would get, seeing as Zemeckis is currently back at Disney with Pinocchio, and Peter Jackson *and* The Beatles themselves are gearing up for Get Back, so all the right elements are back in the mix...

Although I was never fond of this type of video game, I've always admired this intro for Rock Band: The Beatles .. it works beautifully in this short form, but a 'feature-length' tribute project with this sort of stylization might've been (could be?) really cool. 8)

Though not intended for a Yellow Sub type movie, my friend and I got really excited when that spot debuted, and did hope for some kind of project to come from it.

Not only are the designs and animation jawdroppingly gorgeous, but the sound mix is terrific. This spot is most what I was reminded of when Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse came along! It’s largely this spot that did inspire those involved to start developing the Yellow Sub redo in the first place...

Medley of Disney's TV themes from the 90s:

Winnie the Pooh always gets me. Have so many memories of watching it. Ah, nostalgia!

The opening TailSpin and Pooh parts almost sounds like the original vocals with the music tracks faded out! Very good, thick arrangements there.

Couldn't find this anywhere on the forum. Kinda surprised it hadn't been posted before, I think.

Ahh, good times, back when Lindsay wouldn’t automatically be cast as Cinders now. Loved the Dwarfs' high-fives!

What, the ones that keep playing every two minutes within something you’re trying to watch? I’ve never been a fan of the autoplay ones on the front of clips, or the popups, but at least you can skip them after five seconds or click them off, but, yes, the interruptions have been getting more and more obtrusive and lengthy, it seems.

This is both impressive and amusing...

Loved it!!!!!! :D :D :D

(For some reason reminds me a bit of Aardman’s classic short “Creature Comforts.”)
