And especially resembling Bugs, unlike the original Jam, that Joe Dante thing, or even those now-airing made-for-HBOMax monstrosities.
(And speaking of which: Yyyeah--Remember that "Oh, look, it's Bugs and Elmer, and it looks like the 40's cartoon!" a while back? Turns out even that was a snide Millennial cultural-hostility dig at "old" cartoons, and the new ones in the streaming series are shock-gagged cable freaks that seem to be more than a little taking their cues from John K. and his idea that the "Only good Looneys" were the spastic Bob Clampett toons.
If you've wondered why the "fat" Bugs that imitates fat Elmer in "Wabbit Twouble" has now become a wildly out-of-context Internet icon, that, friends, is only the tip of the iceberg.)
...Good thing the classics are on Blu now; Bugs just can't catch a break.
Yeah, that's what I saw , albeit from some YouTube reactors jumping on the cable airing--It's not subtle, but even if we have King Kong (Universal doesn't own the RKO version) high-fiving the Iron Giant in a don't-blink crowd scene, at least it's not the Ready Player Two that we thought brand-obsessed Warner was making. To me the game was the best part. People saying it all hbo max ads full of the other movies? Huh? The cameos are just background filler like we thought. They are just watching the game.
Particularly as they seem to have lost interest in making anything else anymore.
