Thought this one was Sony scraping the absolute bottom of the Columbia corporate barrel for "house icons", but David Arquette grabbing it for a vanity project explains a lot.
Opened the article thinking hipster-deconstruction was in the works, but sounds like it's more "Why don't we love clowns anymore?" sentimentality from old survivors of the local-station days.
