Don't have X-D (who does?), but managed to catch the YouTubes of the first three episodes before a certain corporate Mouse siege, and it's pretty good.
Those who are still brandishing their battered old Cardcaptors flag of loyal resistance against mainstream dubs...please stop. The dubbers did an amazing job of localizing the comic timing without changing the jokes. :)
(The kanji->English, yes, but not the jokes, unlike a certain other Japanese kids-comedy series we were hoping would find breakout...)

Given that Disney's all but flat-out IGNORING it on their X-D marketing, though, isn't a good sign.

Oh, it's just the sequel to the hit CGI "finale" film, which...never came over here to begin with. :?

Always thought Disney Channel/Toon should have at least dubbed '13's 2D "Gadget Museum" movie back while they still had the dub, which at least flashes back on most of the previous TV episodes...
Given that it's hard enough to keep US fans in the lore of the original series.

I remember watching Doraemon on japanese TV as a kid, when my family lived there in the 1970s.

I haven't seen the show at all since then, however. It's kinda crazy how much of it there is. :o

WB pulled a infinity war. Never ever put a big movie against doremon or detective conan in japan! Batman who is loved in japan was put out against doreamon!

Batman got crushed!

Although a remake, nice to see Doraemon hand-drawn again.

To be fair, if you're going to remake one of the 70's classics, Nobita's Little Star Wars was one of the good ones.

But "loved"? I'd say Batman is more understood than Spiderman, due to longer American/western export exposure, but, as I stand by my opinions of China and Shang-Chi...Asia just doesn't get it.
(And let's not even get into that 70's Power-Rangers Spiderman.)

If I remember correctly, Michael Keaton also danced with Kiki's Delivery Service in the pale moonlight, and lost.

But 70s Power Rangers Spider-Man was awesome-bonkers, almost as good as Indian-Superman…!
