With Aardman's last few films not living up to Chicken Run expectations, it was only a matter of time before Nick brought out the old stalwarts again. Hopefully this and Chicken Run 2 give Aardman a boost to making a surprising new toon again.

In the meantime, this is cracking news, Gromit! ;)

Yay! :)
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

"Smart gnome" - classic Aardman pun right there.

Yeah, was wondering about that "Uh...Chicken Run isn't W&G, as DreamWorks found out?" confusion.

Also, Peter Sallis isn't around, is he? Has he gone on 'oliday?

And Chicken Run, as it turned out, was even *better* value for DreamWorks than W&G, as they found out: made over twice as much as Were-Rabbit.

Aardman may be going back to the reliable well, but I don't mind. I'd love another W&G film.
