Looks like the original source for this comes from Giant Freakin Robot. They aren't very reliable.

Disney always makes movies in threes.
We would never get a live-action Gargoyles announced unless they announced a live-action DuckTales and Goof Troop with it.
(And that Chip & Dale animator-tantrum thing doesn't count.)

I've wanted a Gargoyles movie ever since the first transformers movie came out and I saw what technically we can do with CGI.

I'm absolutely thrilled that the Gargoyles movie is finally happening after all these years! I can't wait to see my favorite stone gargoyles come to life on the big screen.
