Punch Punch Forever! Can a young japanese girl win a fight against an entire demonic baseball team..? Of course she can; this is a cartoon, after all. (some 'PG-13' violence & language)

Actually those were quite fun, with some clever aspects, but around ten minute a pop is plenty! I have sensory overload!!

 perhaps 'some' was a bit of an understatement ..

On a less-frenetic level .. there've been some mini-episodes of Lackadaisy released on YouTube, while 'season 1' remains in-production .. such as "Stratagem" which offers a brief glimpse at Mordecai & Victor's very different approaches to problem-solving ..

.. and the lovely "Ingenue", which takes a look at the Lackadaisy gang's early days .. and Ivy Pepper's first encounter with them, as a young child.

I shared a Foodfight documentary earlier, now here's one for Doogal. Granted, this one feels more like a YouTube video, and it is on the long side (the interviews kind of drag on some), but it's interesting nonetheless.

Despite originating in France, the original stop-motion The Magic Roundabout series is a British institution (the theme tune remains iconic here). The European English dub of the first version of the CG feature isn’t actually bad, but Weinstein ruined it with totally new voices who didn’t know the source material and what it meant to the audience that grew up with the show. I’ll check this doc out later, but I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen Doogal, or deleted it entirely from my memory banks. I thought I had written a review for the site, but maybe I just offered up some Forum comments on the UK cut. I do remember enjoying it. :)

"Come to Oregon; it's basically a huge Miyazaki movie!"

a couple of my co-workers (who work remotely from Oregon) stand by this commercial's claim that it's "only slightly exaggerated" .. a couple other co-workers at my studio (who'd recently visited up there) seem to agree. :o
