Yes, very mean-spirited stuff; reminds me why I stopped posting at JHM a couple years ago.
Yes, not to go off topic again or start pointing fingers, but I got disrespected there very recently. (not the first time.) It's not like over here...people can be as rude as they want to and no one does anything about it.
Don't know if I'll be coming back there.... :(

Unlikely, anyway.

The mentality seems to be that Jim is right, and that's that.

You wanna talk rude posting? Check out the forums at imdb. People can say anything they want there, and nobody gives a damn. Er, darn.

Cool World is not an underrated movie, though I would love to see the original cut, which is apparently 40 minutes longer.

That's like a car-crash of a movie - you want to drive away but you just can't stop looking...

There is no original cut, besides Cool World was originally going to be an animated Horror film.

There is an original cut (with obviously unfinished animation and storyboards) which lasted 40 minutes longer. It was going to be a two hour movie.

Paramount was shocked when they saw the quality they were getting and realized this was not going to be "Roger Rabbit 2" or even a "Space Jam" and so changed the ending and got production wrapped up as fast and as cheaply as they could.

Funny, that's not what Bakshi said.
