Ahh, the awesome Vekoma is here. *hugs* This dude can color!

I love the Incredibles pics by Eddie H. and Poison Ivy. You rock, Vek!

By the way, the one pic of Violet and her Nintendo plushies is mine, but I drew that a looong time ago. It looks bad to me...but I'm not talking about how Vek colored it. LOL

Heheh. That's true, but everyone has a different style of coloring. I let Vek color my drawings all the time. It's fun to see his versions of them. And just like with me, he gets the permission of each artist before using their drawings.

No they can't. Many people color things as a profession, example:

hey! Some very nice fan art above :)
So I'll throw my sketches I've made testing new tablet - there is no perfect similarity with exact characters, I've quickly drawn those faces without referencess so they're (five of them) just roughly inspired by concept-art drawings for Mr. Incredible which I had seen and remembered from "The Arts of The Incredibles" book. I realy like those concepts (from that book) because they show Bob Parr as much more tired mid-age guy than we can see him in actual movie...

Just goes to show how much more vital good old hand drawn is over CGI.

I remember seeing the original concept sketches of The Incredibles a couple of years back and feeling stoked. Then the CGI came along.

It's good, of course, but CGI still can't "act" as well as pencil animation yet.

Well, it can to some extent. CGI animation can look phenomenal, but there are still some things that it just can't pull off.

True. But then again, there are many things CGI can pull off that 2-D can't...
