Spaz's point, I think, was that it is a generally well regarded familiy favorite nowadays, but was a bomb on original release. Kinda like what I think he hopes The Wild will be like in years to come...
BTW, It's A Wonderful Life was also a bomb upon release (with quite a few negative reviews) but now everyone loves it.

It's animation. It's got the Disney name on it. It's a new DVD release. More and more people are waiting to see these kinds of films at home now.

Where's the surprise? :)

The funny thing is that I didn't knew what 'Groaning' meant, when I chose it as my nick name. :D I didn't knew it meant anything. :D
