I haven't complained about this, since it's your prerogative, but these animated avatars give me a headache!

Nothing like trying to scroll-read a page quickly and keep having Sonic the friggin Hedgehog skiing in bright, eye-strain inducing, primary colors.

Ugh!

Yeah, I know. but than again, he's not to fond of 'picture' sigs either, so I shouldn't be to bothered.

Actually, I find quite a few moving avatars quite cool. I love Mitch's one, since it's subtle, has a sweet character, and doesn't jump around all over the place.

The Sonic one is just too much to "shut out" on the side of the page when I'm trying to speed through the boards to check them for content. It's the rapid movement and bright colors really.

I'm not saying not to have them, but maybe we should pass some Ritalin around?

I'll see if I can find another cool avatar, or switch back to Spirit.

I guess the Sonic avator can be a little distracting when one is trying to quickly read the messages.

Still, as far as the avatar by itself goes, I think it's pretty cool.
