Dissertation/Thesis Research: The power of Disney.

Hello, I am writing a dissertation/thesis on the Disney Corporation’s and its power and control over the world, I would like to gather some views on this subject.

Does anybody have any opinions on how much control the Disney Corporation has? Will it last? How has it shaped today’s world and its culture? Etc.

Any other views that may contribute to this subject are more than welcome.

That's a huge question!

In fact, that's several huge questions. Best advice: start reading as much as you can.

"Storming The Magic Kingdom", "The Keys To The Kingdom" and "DisneyWar" are good starters.

Also, when you say "Disney's power" it might help to think of exactly what type of "power" you mean:

Economic power?

Psychological power?

Power over children?

Power over American culture?

Power over other cultures?

The possibilities are endless......
