You missed the first ten minutes?
That means you missed some of the funniest stuff.

Actually, its a free *computer* game *download*, Vi.
IMO, Best Buy has the best offer. The plush slugs are so cute!

What's that Wal-Mart one? Anything actually any good, or just a few minutes of the slugs singing?

I wondered the same thing at first, Ben.
The link on the DVD Deals page ("
Exclusive Two-Pack ") has more info on the bonus disc. Turns out that it has some noteworthy material on it.

Though it's mostly filler (me wonders if this might have been stretched to a 2-disc if it had performed better), that looks like some extra fun.

Gee, I wonder if it had been a 2-discer, would be have found out more about those poor doomed Hamster butlers, and just what exactly happened to them?
They seemed very Aardman-y!
Too bad they got cut.

(IMO that leather-jacket rat played by....that Australian actor who was in Frasier, keep forgetting his name, is kind of like DreamWorks personified, smart-alecky, outspoken, ribald, take-no-s***!
Poor Roddy/Aardman! Ha ha!
)

BTW this pic's cute!

I just saw this the other night, and I loved it!
Only problem is, now I'm ticked off it wasn't nominated for Best Animated Feature. It was sooo much better than Monster House!

Australian actor!!??
I believe that was Shane Ritchie, a "popular" comedian/actor here who is 100% British. He was recently in one of our longest running soaps though has also done a lot of musical stage work.
But Australian he ain't!

See, now you
know why I felt the way I did when it didn't get the Annie OR Oscar nom!
Oh, OK Ben, I think I was thinking of Anthony Lapaglia, the guy who played Daphne's brother Simon on Frasier.....it's only cause he REMINDED me so much of this character!
But either way, that rat who takes over Roddy's apartment is SOOOOOO DreamWorks. "Be seeing you my friend!" I'm willing to bet DreamWorks came up with him to replace those hamster guys!
(And uptight, stiff-upper-lip Roddy is SO Aardman!
)
