Grindhouse

Post by eddievalient »

Hi all! After seeing the trailers and watching a special about it on FX, I am seriously looking forward to Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's Grindhouse. In case you haven't heard, it's a double feature of the kind of trashy film that used to play in certain types of theaters. Rodriguez directed one, Tarantino directed the other and then stuck 'em back to back with fake movie trailers in between. Look at the trailer:

Just try and tell me that that doesn't look cool. What I'm wondering though is if this is destined to be an instant cult classic or will it tank and be forgotton? What are you guys's thoughts on it?

Tarantino is always a sure winner but I have to say Rodriguez feature looks better then tarantinos.
I love it when Rodriguez does this sorta stuff, makes me forget he ever did spy kids or sharkboy

If it's anywhere near Sin City's level, we're in for some good fun.

Even more awesome avatar Zwollie! :)
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!
