Don't wanna hear it
Get out, get out, get out
Get out of my way
Step up, step up, step up
You'll never stop me
Nothing you say today

Simple Plan? Are you serious?
They have ONE good song. Couldn't you find someone good like... I dunno, some Ska band?
Because SKA is awesome.

I'm getting a 403 error at that link.

Me thinks they posted this as "news", only to later find themselves "fooled" and taken the page down?

My Snow White 2 story has also been getting a bit of buzz around chat rooms, but while some can't make their mind up if it's real or not, most agree that the story sounds pretty good! :)

I want story credit and a fee, if Disney ever do this! ;)

My link was to a synopsis of the first Brady Bunch Kids animated series, of which I believe Christian's Friends story was a parody.
The Brady Kids and with Mop Top, their dog, enter a balloon race at the local carnival. But something goes wrong and the balloon takes the group to a strange, far-away island inhabited by the most eccentric characters the kids have ever seen.

It is on this island that the Brady's meet a host of colorful new friends who become regulars in "The Brady Kids" series. Among them are Marlon, a magical mynah bird whose talents include ventriloquism and impersonations; Ping and Pong, two pandas who speak only Chinese, and Father Nature, who, henpecked by his wife, Mother Nature, has taken over her responsibilities, causing earth- shaking chaos.

Question about animated The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe

Post by Kay »

Does anyone know or have any information about an animated version of LWW that does not include the 1979 version? Growing up in the 70's/80's I saw it a couple times on tv usually with the animated version of the Hobbit. I always thought it was a beautiful cartoon but for the life of me I have not been able to find any information on it at all! Does anyone know anything about it?

So, you're asking about a version that is NOT the Bill Melendez 1979 TV version?

I don't know of any animated one other than that. If you ARE looking for that version, then try reading this thread:

Correct! I have been searching the web for days for the non-Melendez version. I've even considered that possibly my recollection was skewed, but after asking a couple co-workers, I know that another existed because we all remember the same version that far exceeds the one that is currently plastered all over the web. GRRR!

Well, a quick search on the ol' IMDB brings up these:

The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe (1988) (TV)
aka "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe"
aka "The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe"

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (1979) (TV)

"The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" (1967)

The 1988 version was a live-action BBC TV serial, while the one from '79 is the only animated one I've ever come across (but you say it's not that one).

I checked the 1967 version, and it was a 10-episode black-and-white TV serial again, but nothing there of anything animated in it.

There are plenty of fan sites up that go into the history of the books - I reccommend having a search, but I think you'll find that it is either the 1979 Melendez version that you recall, or another franchise that has been mistakenly attributed the LTW&TW title.

Hope you have success in finding it, and let us know if you do - I'm intrigued! :)
