You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!
I loved everything from The Little Mermaid to Tarzan, and Disney's rival companies were also doing a pretty good job of replicating their formula with films like The Prince of Egypt and Anastasia.

My preference goes to any period where they are still hand shading/coloring the backgrounds! (foregrounds are important too!)
80's and 90's Renaissance Disney Animation, simply because I grew up watching those movies so they naturally mean a lot to me.
When I think of animation, the first thing that flashes before my eyes is always something from Beauty and The Beast.
That doesn't mean they are my favourite animated movies of all time though,
but they are the ones closest to my heart.
