I love the tiger, in design and movement. Some sweet motion in general going on in that trailer. I still think it has potential, so long as the pop culture stuff and body humor is kept to a minimum. Might be a tall order for a Dreamworks CGI film, but I'll still hope.
Is it me, or does the animation look really <I>cheap</I>?
The characters aren't bad, but I hate watching this stuff on the lo-res clips we have on the net sometimes because you can't see the detail and without the detail, it looks el-cheapo.
Where did you get the CinemaScope specs from WJ, I didn't notice anything approaching those dimensions though it would indeed be cool if they went that wide for a kung-fu movie...something fitting in that.
Quite obvious to use Kung-Fu Fighting as a music choice, though it seems to fit this, probably because it's mainstream commercial animation.
Well, it at least looks like its CinemaScope when I watch it in the standard format (not HD) on my computer. But it could just be the way it plays on my screen.
