Scooby-Doo: The Beginning
Scooby-Doo: The Beginning
The official site for Scooby-Doo: The Beginning is now open, featuring the teaser trailer for the Cartoon Network movie.
Rented last-month's direct-video "SD & the Goblin King", and hate for an old geezer like me to have to say it, but...
Shaggy is starting to sound like Casey Kasem in his 60's. (Which should otherwise be a compliment, seeing as IMDb puts Kasem at 75.) Zoinks.
Scott Menville's been doing the weekly-episode voice since the "Get A Clue!" series, but they need to make the official switch pretty soon.

I didnt like the live-action scooby-doo movie{I dont like live-action movies based on childhood cartoons people}
...But if this is gonna be based on a pup named scooby doo I hope they make scooby do wacky aooga faces. If there is no aooga faces in this Im gonna be mad like that time the tom and jerry movie was a disapointment.

Variety has the first image of the Mystery Inc. gang from Scooby Doo: In the Beginning, now known as Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins.
I'm puzzled as to why Fred's hair is brown. As for Scooby, it's nice to see him looking like his old self again. Still, it doesn't look as if he is blending in with his live-action surroundings.

I don't think Scoob looks too right, actually...but it could be that they're all supposed to look "younger". Maybe this is the reason for Fred's black hair and that it turns white/blond during the movie? I think Velma/Thelma's casting is pretty good though...a good likeness for the actress in the other two movies, or is it the same girl?
