Graphic Art Books

Post by Neal »

I bought the "Totoro Forest Project" Book and loved all the different art in it that was a compilation of so many different artists.

I then discovered the "Flight" series at Barnes and Noble.

Now I want to know what other kinds of books are out like these.

I've heard of "Out of Picture" volumes 1 and 2.

What else is there where there's a large compilation of all these different types of art in one book?
Feature Animation Favorites:
  • Tekkonkinkreet, Watership Down, A Town Called Panic, Howl's Moving Castle, Rio 2096, Mind Game, Fantastic Planet

You might want to check out the Swallow series of books by Ashley Wood.

I've some pictures of book 4 and book 5.

Spectrum series of books are all compilations. So are the Expose series from Ballistic Publishing.

There are other book reviews I have on my blog, you might be interested to check them out as well.

Might also check out Imaginary Friends Studios and their occasional published collection.
