Monster's Inc.

Post by ShyViolet »

I was just wondering, we never learn Boo's real name in Monsters, Inc but on the IMBD I saw this:
Cast overview, first billed only:
John Goodman .... James P. "Sulley" Sullivan (voice)
Billy Crystal .... Mike Wazowski (voice)
Mary Gibbs .... Boo/Mary (voice)
Steve Buscemi .... Randall Boggs (voice)
James Coburn .... Henry J. Waternoose III (voice)
Jennifer Tilly .... Celia (voice)
Bob Peterson .... Roz (voice)
John Ratzenberger .... Yeti (voice)
Frank Oz .... Fungus (voice)
Dan Gerson .... Needleman/Smitty (voice) (as Daniel Gerson)
Steve Susskind .... Floor Manager (voice)
Bonnie Hunt .... Flint (voice)
Jeff Pidgeon .... Bile (voice)
Samuel Lord Black .... George Sanderson (voice) (as Sam Black)
Jack Angel .... Additional Voice (voice)
So was "Mary" Boo's real name?? :?:
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Apparently she signs her name as Mary on her drawings or something.

"Monsters, Inc.: The Essential Guide" says that her real name is Mary.

I thought it was fairly well known that her real name was Mary?

Seems so right! :)

Closest we had to a Monster Inc. thread, tada!

Here's early cover art for the upcoming Blu edition:

Eh, I'm not really fan of the cover - too busy. Nice touch on the "M's" running along the boarders though, even if it's continuing the whole branding deal... As it is, I love the original cover more. Was just perfect in the right way.

Don't know if I'll double-dip, but who knows. ;)

Y'know, they should remove Randall from the left of the door (as you say, too busy) and just have his shadow cast on the upper right, where there's nothing going on.

Cool cover. im suprised they didnt add this to the movie...seeing that celia seems to be off of madusa{of myths. known as the snake haired queen} they should've thrown when Mikey looks at celia and she's ticked he turns into stone. XD

This release has been moved to November, likely to coincide with the home video release of Pixar's Up:
