Ice Age 1-3 character designer talking
Here: http://www.inter-activities.com/Animati ... ceAge.html you'll find an interview (in English) with Peter DeSeve, character designer on the three Ice Age movies, conducted by French journalist Christine Blanc, featuring some arts he did for Blue Sky and Pixar.

I'm afraid there is no 'interview' in the link. It's written in blue on my post. I checked it and it works with me. I'm sorry I don't understand what the problem is. The site is called http://www.inter-activities.com/ and then there's an animation column with the interview with Peter DeSeve: http://www.inter-activities.com/Animati ... ceAge.html
Hope this helps!

I don’t know exactly why but there sure is very little chatter for this movie. In any case, here is the latest poster (Japanese) for the movie.

I liked Ice Age, but never got around to seeing The Meltdown. This one has a major problem though. Namely, it's doing things backwards: First came the dinosaurs, THEN came the ice age. The ice age is what KILLED the dinosaurs. I'm sorry, but that kind of thing bugs the logical part of my brain. I may see this one eventually, but I'll go in with very low expectations.

I think the story in the third part deals with sort of an underground cavern where a few dinosaurs managed to survive, though yes, they did come long before any woolly mammoths showed up on the picture.
Also, the most recent ice age didn't killl the dinosaurs. While it is still a bit controversial as to what exactly offed 'em, they became extinct about 65 million year ago - the particular ice age this film deals with reached it's peak around 20,000 years ago. Quite a big time gap there!

Hm... I haven't came across the trailer yet. I know there is one, but I'm actually kind of lazy to look upon it right now. Anyway, from the sound of it, I hope it has a good story, atleast not one that's a bit rehashed from their previous Ice Age films. Let's just hope it's a good one. I'll probobly see it anyway.

It bugs me too. I know that rats don't cook. Fish don't talk. Etc.
But adding Dinosaurs to ice age seems not right. It's not even like dinosaurs existed any time NEAR mammoths not to mention humans. Small thing, maybe. But it bugs me like it bugged me when the insects in Bug's life only had two arms.
