I still prefer the first logo, by a long shot. Still, the book looks beautiful. Thanks for posting it :)

No prob, name bro! ;)

Actually, speaking about the logo, someone read my mind and put all three together for comparison sake:

I have to admit the first one is still my favorite too and when viewed side by side, I actually rather like the cartoony one now... it's like the best of both worlds. I miss the purple font, gold just doesn't compare.

I like "The Princess And The" from #2 and the "Frog" design from #1, but in #3's textures.

I agree the Princess looks like every other "Princess" logo out there. :(

Hrm I acutally like the first style best but I do see why they changed it. The last one does look more polished but the bottom is distracting. I think they want to show the elegant princessness of the whole feature but break it up by showing their focus on comedy so people don't think its just another princess flick. Looking at them again, I think I like the first one best because it reminds me of the Princess Bride logo ;)

Here's Anika Noni Rose discussing her role again, this time adressing the controversy surrounding the race of the Prince:

Once again, very well said. I completly agree.

And here's a glimpse of how the logo will look on the teaser attached with Up:

"Frog" looks more bright green there, me like!

Great find!

Clearer than ever that the title change was really to get the word "Princess" into the title, the intention being that they design it to feel like the other Princess movies that have shared that kind of logo and - naturally - been a hit.

Thnx for the clip... the animation looks outstanding from what we can see.
I'm not sure on the comical aspects though... I wished they'd take it more serious...

Someone pointed this out on youtube. When the bad guy sings "I got friends on the other side", his shadow puches his chair.

I also find something charming about Naveen. He is defenitly not like other Disney princes.

As for comical aspects, this is from the guys who did "Little Mermaid" and "Aladdin". This is something I expect from them. However, they also do stuff besides comedy.

Even "Atlantis", and in my opinion, "The Emperor's New Groove". They might've been decent movies but there hasn't been a "Disney"-Disney movie since "Tarzan". I have to wait to watch these clips at home. Can't wait!
