I had more prosaic reasons for why I didn't buy the Criterion DVD of Time Bandits --
1) it was $20 more than the Anchor Bay DiviMax version; and
2) the DiviMax version had a more recent, superior video transfer.
As for the extras, without looking at everything, what is Gilliam going to say about the film that he hasn't said for over 20 years?
Exactly. I'm waiting to pick up Bandits on Blu, since the Criterion image is non-anamorphic and washed out by comparison (like Brazil, they used the LaserDisc master for their initial DVD).
