That'll be a lot of fun if they manage to pull it off! Here's hoping it's animated - I just can't see it working with live-action.

I love love LOVE Bone (what I've read of it so far, anyway). I've wanted a movie for years. The fact that Jeff Smith is actively involved means that WB won't be able to mess it up. He won't let them. When I read the comics, I always heard Billy West as Phone Bone, Gilbert Gottfried as Phoney, and Sam McMurray as Smiley. I really hope they cast actors with voices similar to those.

Bone Movie Update: Bone using mo-cap!

Post by gaastra »

Jeff smith has made an update on the bone movie. The film will use mo-cap like avatar and monster house.

I hope they don't mess this up. The books are great.

Jeff Smith himself pulled the plug on the first attempt at an animated adaptation when he sensed that it wasn't gonna work. I'd assume he's reserved the same level of control here.

I pictured Chris Sanders doing this for some reason, But I know someone who isnt going to see this at all. He's a fan of bone but however he was hoping for a 2D animated film of it to happen, but now he's furious in range. He even snapped at me when I told him about it, he even stated that Bone is for 2D. And thanks to avatar it had to change that...I cant blame him, I feel somewhat sorry for my friend. But I might as well wait and see what happens.

Chris would be good in it..and yes, this should be 2D but after Frog...well, 2D is practically a memory.

You can blame Avatar for screwing with a princess and a bone cousin Lotso.

Avatar didn't hurt the box office as much as a certain singing Chipmunk trio
