What are you doing this New Years Eve? Any resolutions?

Well, we've just had a lovely new year get together with a few friends and family in our new house. It's been a very hard slog to get to where we are with it and we were really hoping to be in by Crimbo but it didn't quite work out due to various reasons.

We thought to heck with it and had everyone over anyway, and a very nice night was had by all. Just watching The Blues Brothers now on late-night TV, which seems to be on some channel every new year's eve!

We ended the year well. I got my last paycheck of the year, with a giant bonus due to my workplace doing well. (Most of it goes to pay off our line of credit, but I did order some DVDs to celebrate, too .) Then, some of my wife's family came over for supper, but left by 10:30 (due to small children), which was good. Our girl is at a sleepover, the boy's in bed now, and I get some quiet time for me and the wife.

No resolutions per se, just to stay healthy and happy.

I usually don't do resolutions, but this year I'm going to stick with it and finish my animated short film (in production for three years now).

About an hour until 2012!
