Smurfs and the magic flute coming to R1 DVD!

Looks like shout is bringing the big-screen smurfs movie to dvd in america! (uk got a release but it's the uk dub)

As long as it's the us dub and not the awful uk dub we are good to go.

This is being released now just because I recently bought the UK Blu-ray despite Ben's warnings of its awful transfer. At least it was cheap.

Looks like the same edition to me, from the cover art. Anyhoo, I'll wait until we see some reviews for this (assuming we won't get one here) since the UK disc (on DVD and Blu-ray) is as cheap as its asking price.

If this is a different dub and much improved visuals (and maybe even using one decent source print instead of two or more that the UK disc seems to) then I might bite, but beware that this release could be a big steaming pile of smurf!
