I suppose Cinderella wont be back out for a while now? Been on a Disney DVD buying binge.

Hopefully we'll see Cinderella (on Blu-ray) in about three to five years. I'm hoping it will be another restoration to reflect the correct original coloring, but I'm not holding out much on it...I think the last DVD release was based on the HD master they created for eventual hi-def release, so we're stuck with the current retro coloring choices... :(

Well, maybe one of these days I will break down and go blu-ray. Or, i would assume..like with SB, they will stick it out on blu-ray and regular DVD. I know she will show up sooner or later. :)

If Cinders was released this year, I'd say sure, they'd include a DVD. But in five years? I guess DVD would still be going, unless there's a radical shift to Blu-ray and downloading.

You can pick a player up pretty cheap now, Tash. I'd say save some cash and get one so that you can at least enjoy the better extras even if you don't get the benefit of the image upgrade.

Wuzzles, the rest of the Gummi Bears, the three Duck Tales compilation movies and, above all else, the 1983 live-action Herbie series! I don't think anyone's seen that since it aired!

The Herbie TV show would be great to see again. ;)

Actually, it was probably awful, but still--- I'd buy it.

It was released in 1946, so 2016 would be it's 70th anniversary.

Personally, I'm betting on 2021.

OK ... both of those suggestions make sense, unless we could possibly see it sooner through Amazon's new "never before released on DVD" promotion, once they get that really going?

I'd just like to see it released if only to have the subject finally expunged from all of the animation message boards! :lol:

I cannot see Disney going the manufactured-on-demand route with this title. I think they'll do it right, if they ever do it at all.
