On Saturday (December 1), the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences honored Jeffrey Katzenberg with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for his efforts in raising "more than $230 million for charity as chairman of the Motion Picture and Television Fund foundation." Tom Hanks and Will Smith presented Katzenberg with the award.
