Any thoughts on what this is going to be about?

So, that's pretty much the choices:
Does
A) "1952" = "Project Blue Book" (and Clooney playing another military officer)",
or
B) "1952" = "The studio name on the box for Walt's untitled 50's scifi-craze idea, that might've eventually been absorbed into Moon Pilot"?

Oo, this's a toughie, even for me. Could go either way.
It would be NICE to start fantasizing that more ex-Pixar directors are finally going to give Buck Rogers a "real" movie like they gave John Carter, but have the distinct feeling that the comic's there for "period atmosphere".

Wow...interesting!

Had no idea 1952 was about Walt or had a connection. This is intriguing. First thing that got me was the "Productions" on the box label, then obviously the contents of the box with the Walt photos. Clooney's not been put in them, but the modern phone shows this is set now and certain things (a third kind of connection with Walt?) about 1952 are about to be exposed.

From being vaguely interested in seeing more on this nearer the time, I have jumped to wanting to find out as much as I can now! Cool! :)

Life of Pi cinematographer Claudio Miranda is on board. Also did The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and TRON: Leagacy.

For some reason, I want to say "Tron: Leagacy" in a Peter Lorre voice... ;)

Seriously, though...that's more interesting news: all those films were visually superior in many respects, even if Pi was a bonkers load of good-looking hooey! :)

Seems there will be large amounts of golden-tinged period cinematography and VFX integration...
