DreamWorks planning to bring back Lassie
DreamWorks planning to bring back Lassie
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!
Re: DreamWorks planning to bring back Lassie
I wish DW luck but I'm not feeling too optimistic about this. Lassie is very much a Baby Boomer icon and I don't think too many kids today will go for (or have even heard of) this character. I really feel that DW is going overboard with the whole sequels/spinoffs/other properties thing.

Re: DreamWorks planning to bring back Lassie
Did ANYONE notice the last two times they tried bringing Lassie back for film?
The 90's Lorne Michaels one? The British-wartime one that went back to the book?
(As it is, yes, DW did buy Classic Media just to make sure they owned Mr. Peabody, and now they've got a whole shmear handful of Iconic Properties to think they can work their own magic on, even if nobody else could.
Ie; even if Disney already didn't have much luck with Mr. Magoo, George of the Jungle or the Lone Ranger.)
