Not step on any politcal issues? Yeah, good luck with that. ANYTHING can be considered a major offense as far as China's film censors are concerned (they had to cut a Chinese security guard being killed in Skyfall...had to cut all of Chow Yun-Fat's scenes from the third Pirates movie...the list goes on and on!). Unless the movie portrays the country as nothing short of "perfect," of course, then they'll be just fine.

Don't believe this will be a problem? Read this excellent piece by the LA Times back when Kung Fu Panda was in theaters and you'll see what I mean...
