New WB Documentary

For those who may be interested, this week PBS is running a three night documentary on the history of Warner Brothers to celebrate their 85th year of moviemaking. It's going to run 9-11pm tuesday and wednesday and 10-11 thursday. As a film studies major, I'm psyched. Let's hope it lives up to their usual standards.

Yep, EST. For those of you in different parts of the country, set your Tivos accordingly (unless local stations adjust the schedule to the time zone. I've never been able to figure out how that works).

Can anyone give me a series name, so I can look out for it in the UK?

TCM often show the WB docs, such as No Guts, No Glory and the like, so there's a chance it may show here, or on one of the independent channels.

The name of the series is American Masters, and the name of the actual documentary is "You Must Remember This: Warner Bros...."

Ahaa! Thanks Dan. They sure like Casablanca, don't they? The last big WB retrospective doc was <I>Here's Lookin' At You, Warner Bros.</I> back in the 1990s.

Also, I just a found the page for this on the official PBS site. It has a description and a short preview. Looks promising!
