So, the toy company bought the old commercials, huh? 8)

Well, it's on them to do the restoration.

Hasbro owns the toyline AND the old show now.

Rhino at least had the excuse that they were just licensing the shows for home video. They were working with what they were given.

People don't realize that a lot of times licensors are the ones who end up doing video restoration. They don't always get fresh masters from the people who own the shows.

Meh, I've already got the first season, so I'll be patient and wait for season two (which I never got the first go-round).
