How to Train Your Dragon (Live-Action)

Post by Daniel »

Some casting rumors: Jack Dylan Grazer as Hiccup, Auli’i Cravalho as Astrid and Joel Edgerton as Hiccup's father. I actually could see them all in the roles. If true, that's probably why Auli’i isn't returning as Moana. And she did just get a haircut...

Would be fitting since it's being overseen by the original creator. Maybe if the remake was titled Berk Has Fallen. ;)

They've casted the leads and it's not who was rumored.

Mason Thames as Hiccup:

Nico Parker as Astrid:

Gerard Butler will reprise his role as Hiccup's father Stoick. Coolio!

No one does theming and immersion like Universal. I've lived in central Florida for almost my entire life, and I've been present for the opening of a multitude of parks - and this one has me the most excited! The tech is gonna be unreal.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

huh. The HTTYD trailer I saw in front of Dog Man a couple weeks ago was different than either of the two posted above. :?

.. but that last one makes it look like a shot-for-shot remake of the animated movie. :o
