Re: Transformkers more than meets the eye movie in may
Didn't see the last Transformers film then?
I didn't either, but the crossover was hinted at there.

Re: Transformkers more than meets the eye movie in may
They've been talking about this ever since the end of the first Bay trilogy, but then just carried on with those. I guess after the relative downturn of spin-off Bumblebee and the last one, this again looked the most viable way forward.
Spielberg motored the original films forward at Paramount way back, hence his exec credit. Granted, he was a presence on at least the first film, but he has absolutely minimal to nothing to do with these by this point; his is just a nice contractual credit for which he gets a juicy check for.

Not a Transformers fan, either as a kid with the cartoons, or as an adult with the movies. I am, however, a GI Joe cartoon fan.Randall wrote: April 11th, 2024, 5:57 pm Didn't see the last Transformers film then?

I'm with you, James, even as far back as the toys themselves, which I always thought were a bit dumb even as a kid.
However, if they made a computer animated film of the other property we're talking about, would that be CGI Joe?

Now that’s a good one!
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Re: Transformkers more than meets the eye movie in may
Poking fun at the typo on the thread header.
Re: Transformers more than meets the eye movie in may
Heh. Yeah, I Didn't double check transformers. Fixed it. Funny thing is I could see that word used for a toy knockoff in the 80s.
