I've never heard of it.

And I've never seen an R-rated animated movie, either.

What about an X rated one? Fritz the Cat, for example? ;)

This reminds me of when Brad Bird was ranting about how animation isn't a genre...He was going on about how romance, horror, R-Rated films, etc., could all be done with animation. I found ironic that he referred to R-Rated films as a genre...Made me smile.

Appleseed is pretty intense, but ultimately hollow, which is why it is the actual contender for Least Favorite Animated Movie of 2005. ;)

I only saw the ones that came to my theater.

Which means that I haven't seen "Howl's Moving Castle".
